WordPress Editable Theme Content Tutorial

WordPress makes it easy for theme developers to add editable content regions that can be managed from the WordPress admin screens. In this lesson we learn how to add a custom textfield, textarea, image upload (with custom aspect ratio cropping), and a select dropdown. All of this comes together to create a completely custom “callout” area in the footer of the website.
